The Lesser Known and Isolated Pathi Level Beach of Andaman

Pathi Level Beach is a stunning beach located 21 km away from the Diglipur Township
in the Andaman and Nicobar Island of India. The soft sands, azure water, luscious emerald surrounding and the open sea of this beach site resemble the captivating Agonda Beach of Goa.

Unlike other beaches in the archipelago, Pathi Level Beach is less crowded which makes it tranquil and peaceful when compared to other beaches. Despite being a great spot for tourists owing to its serenity and clear waters, the beach has not been developed for tourists but that is what makes this beach incomparable in terms of scenic grandeur and an isolated ambience that is difficult to find in any other beach site.

Abundant of activities can be relished while on this beach site. Swimming in the azure waters and sunbathing under the blue sky are the foremost ones which are not to miss.

Ideal Season to Visit: Though it is all year round destination, an ideal season to visit this beach is from October to April when the weather remains at its best. It is suggested to avoid monsoon seasons.

How to Reach: From Port Blair you can reach Diglipur by air (helicopter), by sea plane (flies daily except Sunday), by bus (Central Bus Stop) or by boat (Phoenix Boat Jetty). From Diglipur, either you can choose to walk from the Ramnagar Beach or relish a one hour 15 minutes of Dunghi ride from Kalighat jetty to reach this beach site.

Closest Airport: Port Blair Airport (about 297 km from Diglipur by road and 180 km by sea) is the closest airport to this beach. Flights ply regularly from numbers of Indian cities including Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar and Kolkata.

By Boat: Andaman Island is well connected to various Indian cities by ship services. Ships regularly ply to Port Blair from Kolkata (3 to 4 sailings every month), Chennai and Vishakhapatnam (once in a month). The journey lasts for three days and after reaching the ships stays for 2 days and returns back.
